I Made It!
Hey family,
This is Elder Eliason writing from the Brazil MTC!! I am safe, Mom. Not dead. The flight was very long but I just got my companion, Elder Oldham. He´s from Kaysville and he knows McKay Brown, small world. We can't send any pictures while we're in the MTC so that means six weeks with no pics. My P-Day´s are going to be on Fridays, and I´ll be able to write to everyone on next Friday, not this one.
The flight was crazy to Sao Paulo, there was a crazy cat on there, everyone was speaking in Portuguese. The lady that sat next to me spoke 3 words in english. But I found out through my handy pocket Portuguese dictionary that her name is Rosemarie, she is Brazilian, and she thought the airplane food was nao bom (not good) haha.
After we touched down we got through customs and all that jazz which is all dandy. There was about 20-26 elders and sisters in the airport and we found our bus and went to go to the MTC! Brazil is crazy, and the driving is awful. There are like 6 elders including me all going to my mission, including my companion. I´m so excited to get started today, thank you for all the prayers and well wishes.
But that is it for now family.
Love you guys!! TCHAU.
